Hi, I’m Hannah Gardiner! It’s lush to meet you.

Thanks for checking out my voiceover services. Let me tell you a bit about myself…

I’m a British voiceover artist originally from Bristol, now living in Valencia, Spain. And first thing’s first — I can’t begin to tell you just how much I love voicing.

My career journey has been influenced by a collection of sparkling, soulful, and serendipitous experiences over the last decade that have all combined to give me a very unique perspective in this industry.

How I got into voiceover

It all started with an innate love of theatre and drama — something that I took deadly seriously until I left school for university. This was equally balanced with a militant singing routine — that included seven years of weekly lessons, twice-weekly choir practice, and obligatory monthly concerts as the “head alto” (I still sing to this day —  just a tad less militant).

But I got my first real taste of voice work (as I know it now) when I started studying Broadcast Journalism at Nottingham Trent University. Over three years, I had unlimited access to swanky mics, vocal booths, vocal coaching — and I even conquered Adobe Audition. This was where I learned to tell stories with my voice alone. And I was smitten. I volunteered at local radio stations, got a great understanding of audio and presenting work, and THEN… I graduated bang in the middle of the naughties’ financial crisis.

Lost and unsure as most 20-somethings are, I was tempted away from the mic to pursue a sexy career in digital marketing and copywriting. It was the recession-proof choice. Digital was up-and-coming — it was where the money and security were. And, while it wasn’t quite as fun as I thought it might be, eight years in the digital marketing world taught me some pretty valuable lessons that I embody in everything I voice today:

  • the importance of purposeful storytelling

  • the power of a brand voice

  • how to communicate to people like an actual human being.

That said, as I was approaching 30, something didn’t feel right. To be honest, I was bored to tears of digital marketing. I needed to find my way back to what made my heart sing.

And with that realisation, I fumbled my way back to my beloved mic. I began voiceover coaching (with the amazing team at RichCraft!). I invested in the best possible recording equipment. And slowly but surely, I started to get jobs! The rest, as they say, is history.

The voiceover I am today

Since 2019, I’ve built a voiceover career that spans everything from TV ads, to documentary narration, audiobooks, e-learning, IVR and phone messages, and even guided meditations. My clients include household names such as Google, Nivea, The Royal Mint, CenterParcs, and Fabletics, and I’ve been nominated for four industry awards.

I’m constantly learning, honing in on different areas of my craft.

As well as working with industry legend Tanya Rich for over a year, I’ve also had/or am having one-to-one coaching with experts such as Nic Redman, Emily Jardine, Stephane Cornicard, and award-winning producer Martin Fisher.

So, if you’re looking for a voiceover artist with buckets of passion, a voice that stands out, and a mind for marketing — I’m your person.
